Powder-coated and baked enamel mounting irons grip pole and hold it off the ground -- poles can be lowered for maintenance by pulling linch bolt and pivoting on lower bolt. |

| Irons must be perpendicular on both axes to assure straight pole installation. Detailed instructions come with our pole packages, so homeowners can put in pole themselves. We recommend taller poles (35-40 feet) be erected by construction professionals. | ![]() |

Last step is raising the pole and locking it in place with linch bolt, lock washer, and tightening nut. Poles can be slightly racked or shimmed if not perfectly perpendicular on first check. |
