The City of San Francisco's famous Ferry Building on its waterfront Embarcadero has eleven Hennessy House wooden flagpoles atop its paraphet and clock tower; these replaced the original poles which were damaged over the years by earthquakes. So the next time you're visiting "Baghdad by the Bay," stop by and see what international flags are flying off our wooden poles, signifying the various ships that visit the Port.
