Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard has a new private club overlooking its historic harbor. The Boathouse holds a special affinity for the Vineyard's casual but elegant way of life. And at the main clubhouse/restaurant you will see a 35 ft. Hennessy House nautical style Douglas fir flag pole with an 11 ft. yardarm and an 8 ft. gaff all painted traditional marine white. It's mounted right on the Boathouse's own marina seawall.
Members have access to the Boathouse's fleet of classic wooden boats with their own Coast Guard licensed captains for cruising Vineyard Sound or visiting Chappaquiddick Island.
Located a mile south is the Boathouse's Field Club offering a clubhouse, restaurant, three pools, a tennis pavillion, state-of-the-art fitness center, and full-service spa. You'll also see a Hennessy House 40 ft. nautical-style flag pole with a 13 ft. yardarm and 9 ft gaff gracing the Cape style tan and white clubhouse building.
